Product description
This is a vintage metamorphic serving cart, crafted from wood with a rich, dark finish. Its defining characteristic is its clever dual-function design, which allows it to serve as both a mobile trolley and a compact table. The piece is constructed primarily from wood, showcasing a prominent grain, and is accented with brass hardware on the drawers and folding mechanism. In its upright configuration, it stands as a three-tiered cart measuring 82 cm in width, 44 cm in depth, and 81 cm in height, offering ample surface space and storage within two small central drawers. Through a simple mechanical action, the top surface unfolds to create a square table, 70 cm by 70 cm, with a height of 62 cm, making it a highly versatile item. This cart is presented in good vintage condition, retaining its original finish and structural integrity. The surfaces have acquired a characterful patina over years of use, which speaks to its history and authenticity. The mechanical folding elements remain fully functional, allowing for a seamless transition between its two forms. As a functional and decorative piece, this serving cart is well-suited for a living room, dining area, or study. Its classic design complements traditional and eclectic interiors, serving adeptly as a mobile bar, a tea trolley, or an occasional side table for entertaining.
