Product description
This is a substantial vintage L-shaped sofa, notable for its multifunctional design and striking period aesthetic. The piece is defined by its generous proportions and vibrant, original striped upholstery, making it a significant statement piece from its era. Constructed with a durable frame of teak and metal, this sofa is upholstered in a robust textile fabric. The design features a distinctive button-tufted finish on both the seat and back cushions. Its colour palette incorporates a warm spectrum of orange, brown, and green stripes. The sofa's dimensions are 280 cm in width and 165 cm at its longest section, with an overall height of 85 cm, a depth of 83 cm, and a seat height of 34 cm. This piece also includes a clever integrated storage compartment and can be converted into a bed, enhancing its utility. The sofa is presented in its original condition, retaining the authentic fabric and all accompanying cushions, including five back pillows and two decorative cushions. It shows character consistent with its age, maintaining its structural integrity and the vividness of its original colourway. The two-piece modular construction allows for easier transport and placement. With its considerable size and versatile functionality, this sofa is well-suited to anchor a large living room or family space. Its distinctively retro style complements vintage, Mid-Century Modern, or eclectic interiors, offering both comfortable seating and a bold design element.
