About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This desk lamp is a characteristic example of mid-20th century design, combining functionality with bold aesthetics. Its silhouette is defined by a spherical base and shade, connected by an articulated arm, an emblematic design of the Space Age era.
The lamp's structure consists of a base and a shade made of bright red lacquered plastic, contrasting with the articulated arm in chrome-plated metal. This articulation allows for easy adjustment of the light's height and orientation for optimal illumination. A three-position switch (HI-OFF-LO) located on the base allows the light intensity to be adjusted to two levels, offering versatility of use.
Preserved in very good general condition, this vintage piece retains its original finish and colors. The lamp is fully functional and shows careful use over the decades, retaining its character and period appeal.
Ideal for a desk, a side table, or a bedside table, this lamp brings a touch of color and a retro design note to any interior. It integrates perfectly into vintage, Mid-Century Modern, or eclectic style decors.
