About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A vintage Wall lights by the Dutch manufacturer Dijkstra, a characteristic example of Dutch Design from the mid-twentieth century. This piece is defined by its Space Age aesthetic, with a spherical shade and an elegant chrome arm.
The lamp is made from a combination of metal and chrome. The shade has a subtle beige lacquer on the outside, contrasted with dark green metal accents on the bracket and ventilation plate. The inside of the shade is painted white for optimal light reflection. The U-shaped chrome arm connects the shade to the wall mounting, creating a sleek and functional design.
This lamp is in good vintage condition, with a character appropriate for its age. The original finish has been preserved and the construction is solid. The wiring is original and functional, contributing to the authenticity of the piece.
With its adjustable shade, this lamp is ideal as a reading lamp next to an armchair or bed, or as accent lighting in a hallway or living room. The design fits seamlessly into a Mid-Century Modern, vintage or eclectic interior.
