Product description
This is a vintage ceramic vase, manufactured by Maltese artist Paul Haber for Alka Ceramics. The object is distinguished by its sculptural and flattened shape, offering an artistic interpretation of a natural landscape.
The vase is made of stoneware, fired at high temperature for durability. The design shows a striking contrast between the smooth, matte brown top and the layered, textured base in beige and brown earth tones. This base evokes associations with geological formations or earth layers, a characteristic of Haber's work. The underside is signed 'Alka'.
The object is in excellent vintage condition and retains its original character and finish. The presence of the original Alka Ceramics label, with the artist's signature, confirms its authenticity and adds value for collectors of studio ceramics.
Due to its unique shape and texture, this vase functions as an autonomous decorative work of art. It is a refined addition to a sideboard, bookshelf or console and fits well within an interior with an organic, modern or Scandinavian aesthetic.
