Product description
This is a vintage vide-poche from the 1960s, titled 'Les Amoureux' in the style of Raymond Peynet, crafted from a combination of onyx and pewter. The object depicts a romantic scene with two stylized figures, giving it a charming and expressive character.
The piece consists of a solid, rectangular base of veined onyx with shades of green, beige, and white. Mounted on this base are two pewter figures, representing a kneeling man and a seated woman. The base has a round recess, making it functional as an ashtray or a dish for small items.
The object is in good vintage condition, with a patina consistent with its age, contributing to its authentic appearance. The natural pattern of the stone makes each piece unique, and the sculptural elements are detailed and intact.
Couple's height 7.5 cm.
