Beautiful Victoria Ware Ironstone set – Blue and white pitcher & reticulated basket A beautiful set consisting of an elegant pitcher (ewer) and a matching reticulated basket in classic blue and white transferware. Both pieces feature landscape scenes with houses, trees, and figures, executed in deep cobalt blue on a cream-white background. Pitcher Height: 21 cm Width (including handle): 17 cm Weight: 920 grams Wavy rim, elegant handle, and sturdy foot with a multi-lobed edge. Reticulated basket Height: 7 cm Diameter: 23 cm Weight: 1161 grams Reticulated all around with two handles and a central landscape scene in the base. Both pieces are marked on the bottom with the Victoria Ware Ironstone crest (two lions with a shield). Perfect as a decorative set on a dresser, in the kitchen, or as an attractive eye-catcher. In good condition, with normal signs of wear appropriate for its age.
