Product description
Superb handcrafted salt-glazed stoneware vase,
high-end collector's item of Belgian folk art.
This model was entirely handmade by master potter Jos Kalb at the famous Grès de La Roche factory (Belgian Ardennes). The base features the official printed markings "Grès de La Roche AD" as well as the artist's incised handwritten signature "Jos. Kalb".
Its timeless design is distinguished by a typical grey background enhanced with a deeply engraved floral decoration, hand-painted in intense cobalt blue. A piece of character, heavy and very decorative, testifying to the craftsmanship of the mid-20th century.
