This is a ceramic jug, manufactured in Vallauris, France, and representative of the mid-20th century. The piece is an excellent example of the 'fat lava' style, characterized by its richly textured, volcanic glaze.
The jug is made of ceramic and features a striking two-tone palette of deep brown and bright white.
