Product description
Beautiful extendable vintage dining table, model ‘TT23’, designed by Cees Braakman and produced by Pastoe in the 1960s. The table comes from Soest, from the estate of the first owners, and was purchased at the time together with a set of SB11 dining chairs by Pastoe. A cool piece of history that belongs with the table.
In our workshop, the table has been carefully restored with respect for the original design and characteristic patina. The top has been completely restored and refinished, allowing the warm color and beautiful wood grain to fully come into their own again. The table is in good condition, with light signs of wear that match its age and show that the table has been used with care for decades.
The table stands firmly on its slender, round legs and has a beautiful, soft appearance due to its rounded corners. Thanks to the two extension leaves, the table is also particularly practical to use. The leaves slide out smoothly and connect nicely to the fixed part, allowing the table to be easily enlarged from a four-person to a six-person table.
The design is simple and timeless, typical Dutch design. No fuss, just a practical table that does what it needs to do. Ideal if you regularly have larger company at the table, but thanks to its compact retracted size, it is also perfect for daily use for two or four. A nice table for long evenings of dining, but just as suitable for everyday use.
