Product description
This is an abstract sculpture, crafted from Kamala hardwood, depicting a kneeling human figure. The work, titled "The Surrender", stands out for its stylized, modernist formal language and the flowing lines that capture the essence of the pose.
The sculpture is expertly carved from a solid piece of wood, resulting in a seamless and organic whole. The wood has a warm, medium-brown hue with a distinct grain structure and is finished with a subtle sheen that accentuates the contours of the piece. The abstract and minimalist approach to the human form is characteristic of the modernist style, with an emphasis on form and emotion rather than realistic details.
The piece is in good overall condition, commensurate with its age. The original finish has largely been preserved, and the object has developed an authentic character that contributes to its visual appeal.
This expressive artwork forms a refined accent on a sideboard, a console, or in a bookcase. It fits perfectly into an interior with a modern, minimalist, or eclectic decor.
The piece can be sent to you via a courier at an additional cost.
