Unique work, from a series of paintings in Street / Pop art style, by a Dutch professional / contemporary artist (1962). The work is painted on 3D canvas using acrylic paint, a palette knife, acrylic spray, and acrylic marker. The painting is hand-signed, comes with a certificate of authenticity, is varnished, and ready to hang. The sides are painted as part of the painting and do not require framing. This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. "The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my head, the inner depleted energy, wants to come out like a volcano and thus become an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces, or an abstract composition." My work is close to the expressionist style, but I enjoy experimenting with pop art and action painting. My work from the 80s was surrealist. I wanted to convey a message to the viewers. The main theme was about life in the world, against war. In the 90s, my work was somber, dark in color, just like my feelings. I escaped from my country (former Yugoslavia) in the early nineties when the war broke out. In the 2000s, I was searching for color. So far, I have finally succeeded. My work is now colorful and abstract expressionist. Most of the work is painted with a palette knife. Color is applied to the canvas with a feeling and emotion that comes deep from my soul. The theme is less important if I am satisfied with the composition and the color. I find experimenting in art—with styles, techniques, colors, etc.—very important. I think: "If, as an artist, you stick to just one style your whole life, then you are dead as an artist." In art and in life, there is one goal for me: to keep going! And I often say: "We do not know what is hidden behind the closed door until we open it." Quote from my book: "Apocalypse of the Soul."
