Product description
Enhance your kitchen with this authentic mechanical kitchen scale, a masterpiece of retro aesthetics in vibrant orange ABS plastic, produced by the renowned French manufacturer Terraillon.
This iconic model, named Terraillon 4000 (BA 4000 series), was designed in 1969 by the legendary Italian industrial designer Marco Zanuso, in collaboration with Richard Sapper. Featured in the official 1970 catalog and exhibited in the collections of the MoMA in New York, this Space Age design icon stands out with its dazzling monochrome orange casing and its large removable smoked brown transparent plexiglass container serving as a protective lid. Its inclined analog dial with an optical magnifying glass ensures perfect reading of measurements.
Ideal for bringing a true colorful and vintage signature to your countertop. The item is in perfect condition. The plastic has retained all its shine, without any cracks or chips. The internal weighing mechanism and the side tare knob work perfectly.
