Product description
This is a vintage thermohygrograph, model 252c, manufactured by the renowned German manufacturer Wilh. Lambrecht GmbH. The instrument is designed to accurately measure and record temperature and relative humidity on a paper chart.
The casing is made of white lacquered metal and features windows that offer a clear view of the complex internal mechanism. The mechanism consists of a rotating drum, driven by a clockwork movement, and two writing arms that record the measurements. Lambrecht, based in Göttingen, is known for its high-quality meteorological and climatological measuring instruments, making this object a piece of scientific history.
The instrument is in good, working condition, consistent with its age, and possesses an authentic character. The original parts and mechanism are present, which adds to its value as a collector's item. The white finish shows a patina that testifies to its past and use.
This thermohygrograph is not only a functional measuring instrument but also a unique decorative object. It fits perfectly into an industrial, minimalist, or eclectic interior, for example, in a study, office, or as an intriguing piece in a living room.
