About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
On offer is a tea set from the Rosenthal Studio-Linie, designed by David Queensberry. The set embodies the innovative design ethos for which the Studio-Linie has been known since the 1960s, combining functionality with a distinctive artistic aesthetic. The set features the 'Queensberry Marble' decor, a subtle, marbled pattern that gives each piece a unique character.
The extensive set consists of high-quality ceramic, manufactured in Germany, as confirmed by the stamp on the underside. It includes a teapot with an elegant bamboo handle and brass fittings, a matching warmer in the same color as the saucers, as well as several cups, saucers, and cake plates. The color palette of cream-colored ceramic with grey marbling is complemented by the contrasting dark saucers and warmer.
The overall condition of the set is very good and testifies to careful handling. The glazes are intact and the colors vibrant. The set is an excellent addition to any collection of 20th-century design ceramics and an example of Rosenthal's collaboration with leading international designers.
This tea set is suitable for both daily use and special occasions. It blends seamlessly into modern, Scandinavian, or Mid-Century interiors and adds a touch of timeless elegance and design history to any table.

5 teacups,
