Product description
The Dutch artist Hans Innemée was born in Heerlen in 1951 and moved to Tilburg at the age of 17. In this city, he also studied at the Academy of Visual Arts. Hans Innemée is a painter with a unique style. He paints people, animals, and objects as children might draw them. At least, that's how it seems. His work has a humorous undertone and evokes tenderness.
The technique Hans Innemée uses was developed by himself. He creates monotype drawings on tissue paper, which are then glued onto handmade Thai paper. These are subsequently adhered to wooden panels and colored with oil pastels. Hans Innemée is very critical when it comes to his own artworks. He manages the entire process himself. "Quality over quantity" is a motto clearly visible in Hans Innemée's art.
