Painting by Spazz. This colorful painting depicts two full hearts interacting with each other, symbolizing shared love. There is much to see, such as references to Banksy, Magritte, Kaws, Dali, and much more. This painting is made with acrylic paint on a stretched canvas. The work is covered with a glossy varnish that protects the paint, gives the painting a shiny appearance, and makes the colors stand out! Hand-signed by the artist on both the front and back. Bold, bright, colorful, and clever. These words describe the unique, recognizable work of the Dutch painter Spazz (Sebastian van Houwelingen). His style is difficult to categorize because it is a mix of many styles picked up along the way. It can best be described as a form of neo-pop art with influences from expressionism, classical art styles such as baroque and renaissance, but also street art and cartoons, all packaged in a contemporary form. His works often combine old and new to give well-known classics new meaning and/or make observations about modern society. All this with a healthy dose of humor.
