Product description
This unique vintage Space Age plexiglass pendant lamp immediately stands out due to its layered, futuristic design. The various rings and panels capture the light in a special way, creating a warm, even glow that instantly adds atmosphere to any room. The use of plexiglass is typical of the Space Age period of the 1960s and 70s, during which designers experimented with new materials and lighting techniques. Plexiglass allowed them to create shapes that were impossible with glass: light, sleek, seamless, and with a diffuse glow that perfectly matches the optimism of that era. The striking yet stylish design is reminiscent of the aesthetics of Guzzini and other iconic Italian lighting makers, but with its own unique geometry.
The lamp is still in good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with its age. The lamp is fitted with a new cord approximately 150 cm long.
