About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of two vintage corner chairs, made from dark-colored wood with a woven seat. The design is characterized by twisted 'bobbin' woodwork, which gives the chairs a classic and artisanal character. The frame of the chairs is entirely constructed from solid wood with a dark finish, with each leg and spoke displaying the characteristic spherical details. The seats are skillfully hand-woven from a natural material, probably rush, which provides a sturdy and comfortable surface. The square seat and the backrest that encloses two sides make these chairs ideal for placement in a corner, optimizing space utilization. The overall condition of the set is good and consistent with its age. The woodwork has developed an authentic patina that contributes to its vintage appearance. The woven seats are intact and sturdy, testifying to the durability of the original craftsmanship. These corner chairs are a charming addition to various interior styles, from rural and rustic to a more eclectic decor. They can function as extra seating in a living room, hallway, or bedroom, adding an element of historical depth and texture to the space.
