Product description
Serenity In marble tones, polished. Polished stoneware Also suitable for outdoor use. Weight 5 kg Hand signed. Material polished stoneware. A Sculpture in deep ochre, and warm earth and autumn colors in rock, from which the Sculpture emerges in a sheltered, modest and serene posture. The artist shows the connection of man with mother earth. And that we, like nature, are very vulnerable. Gold is a color that symbolizes abundance and strength, but because of the warm glow that this Sculpture radiates, gold is also seen as a sunny, positive and uplifting color. This Sculpture can give a sunny new dimension to your environment. The Sculpture is handmade and hand polished by the artist. Chantalle Smeets has developed her own unique style, timeless, which is visible in her other works of bronze, stone, ceramics and wood. Her source of inspiration is nature. Her art radiates joy of life, strength and beauty, in its own unique character. The stillness of her Sculptures can offer a moment of introspection and peace, a touch of something greater beyond thought. Which nature can also offer us and the necessity of our connection with nature. She wants to share this through her art. Together with her partner and artist Martiene Stevens, they manage Kunsthuis Trobar. She has exhibited in various galleries and castles (including sculpture gardens) in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain and her Sculptures are increasingly traveling throughout Europe, America and the Canary Islands.
