Product description
1 of a diptych (Blue Tit and Great Tit)Title: 'On a Winters Day!’ Beautiful portrait of a blue tit on a branch of sheet music painted on a small wooden board. The background color is white. This painting was recently made in 2026 and is part of the 'Dutch birds' series.paints animals from all over the world with a story. During the corona period, they put extra emphasis on Dutch birds! - She completed a Graphic Design and Styling education before finding her calling in contemporary art. Born into a family with a healthy interest in art, she came into contact with art early on and started painting when she was 10 years old. She enjoyed going to museums and is grateful for the early education she received. It has given her the background for her current journey as a contemporary artist. Positivity, colors and freedom to roam The use of color is an important part of her artistic vocabulary: 'Colors make people happy and I want to bring joy and positivity into the world.' Her palette can represent an animal's natural environment, the hunt, or an emotion; depending on what she wants to communicate. And no matter how subdued, the background is part of it. She uses curiously small color forms to 'fill' her animals. 'These represent imaginary continents,' she explains, 'and can represent the areas where the animal belongs, or where it wants to be. In my artistic world, anything is possible. My animals can roam freely.'
