Product description
A vintage ceramic pitcher, manufactured in the renowned Italian ceramics region of Bassano.
The pitcher is made of ceramic with a light blue to white craquelure glaze, which provides an authentic, aged texture. The piece has a ribbed, spherical base that transitions into a slender neck, an elegantly shaped handle, and a loose lid with a knob. The three-dimensional rose, with cream-colored and orange-brown petals and dark leaves, forms a striking contrast with the light base color.
The overall condition of the pitcher is very good, in accordance with its age. The craquelure effect is an intentional part of the design and contributes to the characteristic appearance of the piece. The pitcher is primarily intended as a Decorative Objects.
There are no visible chips or cracks. Only the inside of the lid is slightly chipped.
Produced approx. 1960s to 1970s.
