Product description
Wood type: Iroko from Africa.
Bone-hard, and very difficult to chisel.
This is an expressive abstract sculpture, expertly crafted from solid wood. The work, reminiscent of a rocket in its upward movement, is characterized by a dynamic silhouette that combines strength and organic forms.
The sculpture is hand-carved from a single piece of solid hardwood, resulting in a unique object with a tactile texture. The rich, warm brown color of the wood is accentuated by natural grain patterns, which vary from light to deep tones. The sculptural form plays with volume and emptiness, where flowing lines contrast with sharp, geometric planes, reminiscent of organic-modern or brutalist style periods.
The object is in very good condition, with a patina that testifies to its age and history. The finish is smooth and emphasizes the natural beauty and character of the material. It is a substantial and unique work of art that attracts attention.
This Sculpture is a striking statement piece suitable for placement on a dresser, console, or pedestal. It fits well within various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern and minimalist to an eclectic or brutalist decor.
Can be delivered for an additional fee, or picked up via Whoppah services.
