About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This interesting table lamp originates from the 1970s and stylistically follows the rich tradition of figural lamps that became an iconic element of the "Mid-Century" era. A distinctive feature of the fixture is the ceramic body, whose surface finish faithfully mimics the noble appearance of alabaster, giving the lamp elegance and a sculptural character. This design approach, combining a utilitarian object with figural sculpture, brings an unmistakable retro flair and decorative value to an interior.
The fixture has undergone a process of professional restoration, during which a complete new electrification and the revision of a standardized E27 socket were carried out. Thanks to this intervention, the lamp is now fully functional, safe, and ready for immediate use in a contemporary home without losing its historical authenticity. This technical renewal ensures the long-term reliability of the fixture and allows for safe operation while preserving all original aesthetic qualities.
Given its distinctive design, representative appearance, and excellent technical condition after restoration, this lamp holds significant collector and utility value. For design enthusiasts, it represents a stylish solitaire that carries the legacy of the 1970s era and functions as a bold, visually appealing element in an interior. Investing in this piece is not only a way to obtain high-quality and original lighting but also a means of acquiring an authentic piece of history that retains its prestige even after decades.
