This is a ceramic ashtray, designed and produced by the Dutch pottery Ravelli. The piece immediately stands out due to its vibrant, deep red color and the classic, round shape characteristic of the mid-20th century.
The ashtray is made of ceramic with a thick, glossy glaze in a striking red-orange hue, often described as a 'volcano' glaze. The bottom is unmistakably marked with the impressed 'Ravelli' stamp, confirming its authenticity. The dark, earthy color of the underside and edges provides a beautiful contrast to the bright red.
