Product description
This is an authentic, hand-painted serving dish, manufactured by Faiarte in Alcobaça, Portugal. The piece embodies the rich tradition of Portuguese pottery with its vibrant and expressive floral decoration.
The dish is made of ceramic and has a rectangular shape with scalloped edges and two integrated handles. The surface is decorated with a hand-applied floral motif in bright colors such as red, yellow, and green, accented with dark blue details. The base color is a soft light blue, framed by a deep cobalt blue rim, creating a beautiful contrast. The bottom is marked 'Faiarte Alcobaça Made in Portugal'.
The object is in good condition, consistent with its age and handmade origin. The glossy glaze layer is largely intact, and the colors are still very vibrant, contributing to the character and charm of the piece. It is slightly damaged on the underside, as shown in the last photo.
