Product description
This porcelain figurine depicts a romantic scene with a man and a woman in eighteenth-century attire. The work is executed in a style reminiscent of the Rococo period, with attention to the graceful poses and detailed costumes of the figures.
The figurine is crafted from porcelain and hand-painted in a rich palette of colors, including purple, green, red, and blue, on a predominantly white base. The woman holds a basket with finely modeled flowers, while the man wears an elegant cape. On the underside, the figurine features a blue mark, consisting of a crown above the letter 'S'.
The object exhibits a character befitting its age and history. Its overall condition testifies to a past, contributing to the authentic appearance of the piece. It retains its decorative value despite the traces of time.
This figurative figurine is a classic addition to an interior. It fits well on a mantelpiece, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection of antique or vintage porcelain. The male figure has defective arms and a piece of the shoe is missing.
