Funny work by the Rotterdam artist and philosopher Peter Bastiaanssen. With his trademark the dog (Art is a dog) he always knows how to involve humor in his work. In various domestic settings, the dog often takes on human traits. Sometimes other animals also play the leading role. In addition to his paintings, he also makes sculptures of wood.
Master printer Peter Willems produced this screen print in collaboration with the artist. This resulted in a beautiful series of screen prints. The works are so beautifully printed (each color has its own printing process) that it looks like the work has been painted. If you come from work after a tired day and you see this work hanging at home, the corners of the mouth will soon turn up again. The work is in perfect condition and is signed lower right by the artist.
