Product description
This is a Papillon side table, designed by Thomas Althaus for the manufacturer Metaform. The piece is characterized by its combination of a glass top and a sculptural metal base. The design owes its name to the base, which is reminiscent of butterfly wings, giving it a playful and organic look.
The construction consists of a round top of clear glass, resting on a central leg. This leg is held in place by a brushed metal disc, adding a subtle industrial detail. The three-legged base is made of white lacquered metal and offers stability while maintaining a light and airy feel.
