ProfessionalProduct description
Here is a pair of suspended Chandeliers designed by the Japanese designer Motoko Ishii. These luminaires are emblematic examples of the Space Age era, characterized by their geometric structure and the use of modern materials. Each Chandelier is composed of a chrome-plated metal structure that supports a cluster of spherical lampshades made of transparent glass. This configuration creates a visual effect of a luminous cloud, diffusing light multidirectionally. The design, dating from the 1970s, reflects an aesthetic that is both sculptural and functional, typical of Ishii's work, who is internationally recognized for her innovative lighting creations. These vintage pieces are in very good condition, having retained their brilliant chrome finish and the integrity of their glass globes. The patina is consistent with their age, which adds to their authentic character. The set testifies to quality manufacturing and timeless design. Installed together above a dining table or in a double-height living room, these Chandeliers create a spectacular focal point. They integrate perfectly into Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, or eclectic style interiors, bringing a touch of sophistication and design history.
