Product description
Superb pair of side tables (or end-of-lounge side tables) in Hollywood Regency style, produced by the prestigious Belgian manufacturer Belgo Chrome during the 1970s / 1980s. Each side table is structured around an elegant base in brass-plated and gilded metal with a remarkable shine. The iconic design stands out with its upper spacers adorned with a geometric frieze of openwork circles (or rings) in relief, a highly sought-after architectural detail of the brand. The tops are covered with their original dark grey smoked glass. These elegant tables combine postmodern geometric rigor and the bourgeois refinement of Belgian metallurgical design from the interwar period. An exceptional pair, ideal for flanking a sofa or serving as high-end bedside tables. Features: • Manufacturer: Belgo Chrome (Belgium) • Style: Hollywood Regency / Postmodern • Period: Circa 1975-1985 • Dimensions: Height 46 cm | Length 50 cm | Width 40 cm • Condition: Splendid vintage condition. The brass structure has a very beautiful luster and the smoked glass tops do not alter its superb transparency.
