Product description
Ottoman/footstool designed by Rolf Rastad (1916 – 1995) and Adolf Relling (1913-2006)
Norway approx. 1950
Upholstered with original cowhide leather that has recently been carefully refined and lightly sanded.
This has given the hide a beautiful rough-matte, nubuck-like structure, while the natural characteristics of the leather remain visible.
The subtle variations, small imperfections and slight color differences of the leather enhance the warm, lived-in appearance of the piece.
The solid frame is made of teak.
The furniture is in perfect condition but has slight signs of wear commensurate with its age.
