Product description
A set of two glass decanters, in very good condition. Only scratches on the bottom where they stand. Swedish made by the Swedish glass factory Orrefors. The set is part of the 'Clown' series, an iconic design by Anne Nilsson from the 90s, known for its playful and colorful aesthetic.
The set consists of two different shapes: a tall, slender decanter and a lower, bulbous decanter. Both are made of clear, hand-blown glass and are characterized by their unique stoppers. The tall decanter has a transparent stopper with an enclosed yellow glass sphere, while the lower decanter has a solid black stopper with a small yellow accent at the top. These designs are representative of postmodern Swedish glassware from that period.
The decanters are in very good vintage condition, appropriate for their age and use. The glass is clear and the original, distinctive stoppers are present and intact, only scratches on the bottom where they stand. The set is an authentic example of Anne Nilsson's work for Orrefors and bears the manufacturer's signature.
These decorative objects are a striking addition to a dresser, bar cart or in a display cabinet. They can be used functionally for serving drinks or purely as an artistic statement in a modern or eclectic interior.
