Product description
This is an authentic Eames Plastic Side Chair, produced by Vitra and designed by the legendary duo Charles and Ray Eames. It is one of the most recognizable furniture designs of the 20th century, known for its organically shaped seat shell and iconic base.
The chair has a seat made of durable, white polypropylene plastic. The base, also known as the 'Dowel Leg Base' (DSW), is made of light maple wood with characteristic black metal cross braces. This combination of materials provides a timeless look and a sturdy construction, a hallmark of Eames' work.
The chair is in good condition and demonstrates the quality Vitra is known for. Thanks to its minimalist and functional design, this chair fits effortlessly into various interior styles, from Scandinavian to modern. It is perfect as a dining chair, desk chair, or as a stylish accent in the living room.
