Original Murano Glass Ashtray – solid red art glass – 15 × 15 × 8 cm – 1,376 g
For sale is an exceptional, solid Murano glass ashtray from Italy in intense ruby red with transparent, heavily faceted glass elements.
The piece impresses with its unusual geometric shape, the numerous cut facets, and the impressive glass thickness. Due to its weight of 1,376 g, the ashtray feels very solid and high-quality in hand.
An original "Murano Italy" label is on the glass.
According to previous ownership, the piece was probably acquired in the late 1970s or early 1980s. However, the actual year of manufacture cannot be reliably deduced from this.
