Product description
This is a vintage electronic alarm clock by Philips, manufactured in the 1970s. The model, type HR 5370, is a characteristic example of the Space Age design from that period, with its bright color scheme and geometric shape.
The casing is made of a vibrant orange plastic, combined with a transparent plexiglass front that protects the black dial. The dial has clear white Arabic numerals and contrasting hands for optimal readability. This item, produced in Germany, operates on a standard 1.5V battery and embodies the transition to electronic timepieces in consumer products.
The overall condition of the alarm clock is very good, retaining its original colors and components. The plastic casing and plexiglass show character consistent with its age and careful use over the years, without compromising its aesthetic or functional qualities.
With its compact size and striking appearance, this Philips alarm clock is a perfect accent for a bedside table, desk, or open cabinet. It adds an authentic retro element to both modern and vintage-inspired interiors.
