Height: 74cm
Worktop 90x180cm (!)
Frame: aluminium scaffolding tubes (diameter approx. 4.5cm), detachable for transport.
Top: clear lacquered plywood.
One power strip (6 or 8 outlets) and cable tray per desk.
Designed in 2010 for office use by (graphic) designers, where the extra-large worktop is ideal for surface storage next to the computer. Because the tables have an exact 1:2 ratio, multiple configurations can easily be created, including a large work island.
Two grey drawer units fit nicely under the top and are included.
The ravages of time have only had a relatively limited influence, but a few points are worth mentioning. Here and there some dents can be found in the wood because something (too) heavy has been placed on it. Around the work area there may be slight discoloration/wear (certainly not on all tables). On one desk top there are small discolorations that seem to be caused by moisture and on another top there is a somewhat larger spot, I suspect caused by coffee/tea or something similar (on the photos the front transverse desk). Much of this, by the way, can be quickly remedied by sanding the top and adding a coat of new clear coat.
