Product description
This is a tender bronze sculpture, titled 'Mother and Child', capturing the universal bond between a mother and her baby. The sculpture, with a warm bronze finish, depicts a kneeling mother lovingly holding her child in her arms, a timeless and moving scene.
The sculpture is crafted from bronze and stands on a solid square base of black marble with white veins. On the back of the sculpture, there is a mark with the text 'BRONZE GARANTI J.B. DEPOSE PARIS', indicating the authenticity and French origin of the piece. The combination of warm bronze and cool, dark marble creates an elegant contrast.
The overall condition of the sculpture is good, with a patina consistent with its age and character. It is an expressive piece that radiates a sense of calm and intimacy. This figurine is a beautiful addition to a dresser, bookshelf, or side table and fits both classic and modern interiors.
