About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a Bohemian glass perfume bottle, characterized by its rich cobalt blue hue and elegant form. The piece showcases traditional Central European glassmaking techniques, featuring a frosted body contrasted with intricate, hand-painted gold floral motifs.
The bottle is crafted from deep cobalt blue glass with a satinised, frosted finish that provides a soft, tactile quality. It is adorned with a detailed floral pattern rendered in gold paint, creating a striking visual contrast. The vessel is topped with a polished gold-tone metal collar and a clear, faceted glass stopper, which adds a crystalline sparkle to the overall composition. The design reflects an Art Deco influence, typical of high-quality decorative glass from the early to mid-20th century.
Overall, the bottle is in a condition consistent with its age, retaining its vibrant colour and the integrity of its painted decoration. The combination of the matte blue glass, the lustrous gold detailing, and the clear stopper gives the piece a distinct and refined character.
As a decorative object, this perfume bottle would be a sophisticated addition to a dressing table, vanity, or display cabinet. Its classic styling allows it to integrate seamlessly into both traditional and modern interiors, adding a touch of vintage elegance.
