ABOUT THIS DESIGN
The Moooi Delfts Blauw rug, designed by Marcel Wanders for Moooi Carpets, is an impressive statement piece that transforms traditional Dutch craftsmanship into a modern, photorealistic work of art on the floor. Inspired by classic hand-painted Delft blue wall plates and porcelain tradition, this generous round rug brings a rich history and optical depth to the space.
Thanks to the advanced high-definition printing technology of
Moooi Carpets, the fine floral details, the subtle shading, and the characteristic cobalt blue color gradient are sharply visible. With a generous diameter of 350 cm, this Moooi Delfts Blauw rug forms a breathtaking centerpiece under a large dining table, in a spacious seating area, or a representative reception area. The rug combines a velvety soft texture with durable, easy-care top quality.
