Has been reupholstered (original was bright green faux fur and severely damaged/decayed). Space age period.
With a tray on top it has always been used as a side table, very occasionally has been sat on. The upholstery is in good condition. On the chrome base there are some spots and on the underside where the chrome is on the floor there are scratches (from before it was in my house), overall in very good condition. Some stains on the wood on the underside, probably from polishing the chrome.
