About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage travel or folding lamp by the English brand Metek. The design is characteristic of the mid-20th century, with a focus on functionality and a compact form, executed in a striking green color.
The lamp is made of metal with a lacquered finish. Both the shade and the weighted base are in a vibrant, lime green color, while the adjustable arm is finished in chrome. The inside of the shade is lacquered white for optimal light reflection. Thanks to its hinged mechanism, the lamp can be folded into a compact size, making it an ideal accessory for travel or for use in small spaces.
The overall condition of the lamp is good and consistent with its age and use. The item retains its original finish and shows an authentic patina that contributes to its vintage character. The wiring and plug appear to be original.
This Metek table lamp is a functional and decorative object that adds a touch of color and retro style to a desk, bedside table, or reading nook. It fits well within a vintage, industrial, or eclectic interior.
