Private sellerProduct description
This is a compelling giclée print by the celebrated Bosnian artist Mersad Berber, titled "Portret Devojke" or "Portrait of a Girl". The work is a characteristic example of Berber's style, which masterfully blends classical portraiture with expressive, modern techniques.
The artwork is an author's giclée print, hand-finished with gilding, which adds texture and luminosity to the composition. Measuring 45 x 62 cm, the piece is designated as an Artist's Proof (P.A.), making it a special print outside the regular edition. The color palette is dominated by deep, earthy browns and blacks, creating a dramatic contrast with the subject's serene expression and the shimmering gold accents.
This print is in excellent condition and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the LARS gallery in Zagreb, which verifies the artist, title, and technique. The work is presented in a substantial, gold-finished wooden frame that complements the gilding within the artwork itself.
As a significant work of figurative art, this portrait would serve as a sophisticated focal point in a living room, study, or entryway. Its rich tones and classical subject matter integrate well with both traditional and contemporary interiors.Dimensions with frame 65Hx83Bx5D cm
