Product description
This is the Titania pendant lamp, an iconic design by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto for the Italian manufacturer Luceplan. The piece is characterized by its light, almost weightless appearance and its ability to change color. The lamp has an elliptical structure made of aluminum slats, which creates a striking visual effect while preventing glare. The unique feature of the Titania is the possibility to add colored polycarbonate filters, allowing the lamp to take on a specific color tone without affecting the white light beam upwards and downwards. This example comes with purple filters. The overall condition of the lamp is good, consistent with age and previous use. The construction is solid and the characteristic shape has remained fully intact, making it an authentic piece of design history. With its sculptural presence, the Titania is a statement piece above a dining table, in a living room, or in an office space. The lamp fits perfectly into a modern, minimalist, or eclectic interior, where it is both functional and decorative.
