Work from 2024. Acrylic on canvas. 50cm x 40 cm. Naive work with a nod to the artist's private life. An ode to simplicity by omitting details and using minimal color, far removed from over-refinement.

LNBP is the pseudonym of a 58-year-old Belgian self-taught artist.
Her “second/artistic life” only began after a series of medical challenges that prevented her from continuing to participate in the physically demanding business side of entrepreneurship.
After initially keeping her art to herself for a long time, LNBP is now fully pursuing her passion, even though she has actually always been creatively active “on the side,” primarily in interior design. LNBP is now indulging in rather energetic, explosive works, which she creates with just one hand, her non-dominant hand.
The next step is selling and exhibiting.
LNBP went for it and she took the leap.
