Product description
This is a collection of various graphic works depicting Dutch cityscapes and architecture. The collection includes both historical etchings and twentieth-century drawings, which together offer a fascinating overview of urban development in the Netherlands.
The selection contains detailed etchings of Amsterdam locations such as Koningsplein and the English Church on the Begijnhof, published by P. Fouquet junior and drawn by artists such as J. de Beijer. In addition, there are pen and ink drawings from 1978 by Jos van Alphen and Ron Steenbergen, among others, which provide a more contemporary interpretation of urban architecture. All works are executed in black and white on paper and are framed in simple glass plates with clips.
The prints are generally in good condition, appropriate for their age. They are protected by the glass, which has contributed to the preservation of the paper and ink. The collection as a whole has an authentic and historical character, with each print telling its own story.
These framed works are very suitable for a classic or eclectic interior. They can be hung individually or together form an atmospheric gallery wall in a study, hallway, or living room, adding a touch of Dutch history to the space.
