Beautiful, original Mid-Century Modern 'Kluk Kluk' (cluck-cluck) decanter from the famous Danish glass factory Kastrup-Holmegaard. This iconic design was created in the 1960s by Jacob E. Bang and owes its name to the unique, pleasant gurgling sound that occurs when pouring the drink. This piece is an absolute find for the collector, as it is in exceptionally complete condition. Features: • Designer: Jacob E. Bang • Manufacturer: Kastrup-Holmegaard (Made in Denmark) • Period: 1965 – 1975 • Size: ¼ liter variant (approx. 19-20 cm high including stopper) • Material: Hand-blown clear glass with the characteristic four vertical pillars • Includes: The original, perfectly fitting glass ball stopper • Unique: Equipped with the original, rare paper factory label with the Danish royal swan. This label has been washed away from most examples over the years! Condition: The decanter is in excellent vintage condition. The glass is beautifully clear and shows no dull limescale (glass disease) on the inside.
