This is a set of two Kartell Bourgie table lamps, an iconic design by Ferruccio Laviani for the Italian brand Kartell. The lamps combine a classic baroque aesthetic with innovative industrial material use. The design is instantly recognizable by its exuberant silhouette and is a celebrated example of modern Italian design.
Each lamp is made of polycarbonate with a silver-colored, metallized finish. The base consists of three decorated, interlocking parts, while the large lampshade features a pleated effect, creating a unique play of reflections when the lamp is lit. The lamps are equipped with a dimmer. This model is one of Kartell's bestsellers and is produced in Italy.
The overall condition of this set is good, with a character consistent with previous use. The original silver finish has been preserved and the lamps are fully functional.
One of the switches shows 2 cracks (see photo) but this is barely visible and the switch works perfectly nonetheless.
