Product description
A vintage table lamp by Ikea, designed by Knut and Marianne Hagberg. This specific model, known as the B9501 'Svamp', is an iconic example of Swedish design from the 90s and is appreciated for its distinctive mushroom-shaped silhouette.
The lamp is made from a combination of materials typical of the postmodern era. The construction consists of a round, stable base of chrome-plated metal, a conical stem of light-colored wood, and a hemispherical shade of frosted glass. This glass shade provides a soft, diffuse light distribution, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
The overall design is in good, vintage condition consistent with its age and use. The materials have retained an authentic character, and the lamp is fully functional. The combination of glass, wood, and chrome gives the piece a timeless appearance.
This table lamp is a versatile addition to various interior styles, from Scandinavian and minimalist to retro and eclectic. Its compact size makes it an ideal light source for a bedside table, a desk, or a side table in the living room.
