About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a classic pendant lamp from the Danish glass manufacturer Holmegaard, part of Royal Copenhagen. It is the iconic 'Mandarin' model, known for its elegant, trumpet-like shape that is instantly recognizable.
The lamp is entirely made of white opal glass, a material that provides a soft and diffuse light distribution. This design by Michael Bang from the 1980s is a beautiful example of Scandinavian design, where function and form seamlessly merge. The original wiring is still present.
This vintage lamp is in good condition, consistent with its age and use. The glass has retained its luster, and the overall appearance is authentic. It is a piece with character that tells a story.
The 'Mandarin' pendant lamp fits perfectly above a dining table, in a hallway, or as atmospheric lighting in a reading nook. Its timeless white color and minimalist form make it suitable for both modern and retro-inspired interiors.
